Violinist Eunhye Dong
Violinist Eunhye Dong, who is attracting attention for her in-depth interpretation and delicate performances, went to Oberlin Conservatory at the age of 15 as a Full Schorlarship student. She attended to Cleveland Institute of Music as an Artist Diploma studying with Paul Kantor, and completed her Master’s of Music degree at the Manhattan School of Music where she was selected as a scholarship student.

Earlier, she was recognized for her musicality and talent. She won the Chicago Sejong Music Competition, Oberlin Dean’s Talented Award, Oberlin Commencement Recital Audition, Duxbury Music Festival Concerto Competition.

She was selected as an Orchestra Fellowship and scholarship student at numerous Music Festival, such as Daegwallyeong International festival, Aspen Music Festival, Bowdoin Music Festival, and Texas Music Festival, and accumulated various musical skills as a chamber and orchestra musician as well as a soloist.

She has performed as a soloist with a number of orchestras such as the Ukrainian National Symphony Orchestra, Daejeon City Symphony Orchestra, CTS Broadcasting Symphony Orchestra, and Thai Royal Symphony Orchestra.

She was invited to Gyunggi Philharmonic Orchestra as a Principal Violinist and has performed regular concerts in Korea and many other concert halls including the Berliner Philharmonie Hall. She has also performed as a soloist at the Thai Culture and Arts Center at the invitation of the Thai royal family.

Currently, she is a concertmaster at the CTS Broadcasting Orchestra and the Sangrok Orchestra performing regular concerts in Korea and abroad. In addition to this, she is the concertmaster of the Korean-Thai Cultural Festival Orchestra, where she has been invited to the Thai royal family to perform every year, and has consistently held music talent donations and master classes for artists and local youth there. She is an adjunct professor at Chungnam National University, Chungju National University, and Sangrok Academy of Music and Arts, where she teaches based on her international performance experience and musical technique. She is also a musical director and a member of the Korean String Association Ensemble.
